TREVERVA MALE VOICE CHOIR

Treverva Male Voice Choir was formed in 1936 and is based in the small Cornish village of Treverva, close to the Fal and Helford estuaries. With a membership of about 35 enthusiastic singers, the Choir averages two concerts a month throughout the year. These have helped many charities raise thousands of pounds.
To maintain the high standard of performance for which it is renowned, the Choir often performs at competitive music festivals and has achieved considerable success at major festivals both locally and nationally. These successes include: Cornish champions on many occasions, top awards at Blackpool, Cheltenham, Huddersfield and Porthcawl.
Trips abroad include California and many European countries.
The Choir has also appeared on TV, films and has made many BBC broadcast recordings.
The Choir is directed by Becky Swaysland, a music graduate of Kings College, London and the Royal Academy of Music.
Accompanist is David Ferry.
